Let's Grow Together
For years, we have assisted clients in obtaining licensing under the Department of Revenue and we have assisted our clients in disputes with the Department of Revenue. We know the Department of Revenue employees and attorneys and how they operate and interpret the laws and regulations.
The Montana DOR is the state government agency in charge of the drafting and implementing marijuana regulations, issuing marijuana licenses, and enforcing the regulations as applied to licensed entities. The MT DOR will create strict and broad-reaching regulations. No one knows what these regulations will entail at this time, but luckily we have years of experience dealing with MT DOR for liquor licenses, and thus we know MT DOR’s playbook. The law and the regulations will cover ownership and financing requirements, minimum security requirements, advertising restrictions, financial statement audits, and many other requirements intended to comply with state marijuana operations. We ensure our clients remain well-informed and well-advised to avoid any undue issues. If you have questions on regulations, talk with one of our marijuana business attorneys to learn more.
Montana Marijuana Law works closely with our clients to counsel them on the most effective means of resolving disputes. We handle disputes with other marijuana providers, marijuana regulatory and administrative violations, real estate disputes; and general contract and business disputes.
